1765 posts · Joined 2014. #2 · Sep 26, 2020. @Ashiq. There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. I'm guessing you can do it on your passenger side, too.
May 2, 2019 · Thanks! Sometimes the windows on my OB will stick to the rubber weatherstrip and not budge. Eventually the motor wins out, but you may want to try running a credit card or something else thin, flexible and not sharp between the glass and rubber. Then clean the weatherstrip with silicon spray to help prevent it from happening again. Subaru Dealers are given 0.2 hours to replace the drivers master window control switch under warranty. It took me 0.5 hours (for no known reason I cleaned the dust off of the inside door panel) and the job seemed straight forward.If the fuse is good, let us know if your passenger window has auto up/down, that will guide the next diagnostic steps. With the Ignition switch turned to ON, check at the RH door switch for a small rectangular red light -- there should be one at each window switch, and they are on all the time. If the RH switch light is working, then there's 12 V to the switch. Apr 9, 2017 · There's a separate fuse for the power window relay control circuit; it's fuse #26 (7.5 Amps) in the cabin fuse box. It's identified on page 12-7 of the Owners Manual as Power window relay. Remove that fuse and then turn the key to ON and see if the clicking has stopped. If it stops, then there's something wrong in the window system.
