It comes from fans of the game who are able to mod it to their liking. It overhauls the game. Think of it as an extreme balance patch. Probably some new items. All the new stuff in the video. No one really knows the extent of the changes yet.

New player confused about Redux mod and end game. So I played Borderlands 2 and 3 but completely new to Wonderlands. Finished Main Story at lvl 36 with 20 hrs /played (still 17 side quests left). Fun factor of story+most side quests was off the charts. Overall game was great and definitely surprised me in a good way.Blightcaller Builds. I thought the Redux stuff got installed automatically by the game, guess not so I gave it a go. If you have competency in shooters and are comfortable with the borderlands game design, I'd say go redux. The difficulty scaling is a bit different and more challenging, but the dopamine treadmill gameplay loop is better and the gear drops are more meaningful/interesting. If you want a "turn your brain off and grind" game, play the original.
