I originally booked a horrible hotel room and needed to cancel the second day reservation (there were bugs and it was clearly unclean). The hotel was unwilling to do this, but Ruben made things right and got me a refund. Not needing to go through a cc chargeback was nice. Date of experience: March 03, 2022. After booking and staying at the hotel I received a bill for $99 from the hotel. They charged for parking and hotel blah, blah fee. Conveniently, that was not included in the gosplitty rate. Traveluro would not allow me to cancel a hotel reservation, despite willing to forgo a re-fund. HORRIBLE! What sort of company refuses to cancel a service that you have already paid for & request no refund for. I’ll never book with Traveluro again - and you shouldn’t either. There are hidden fees that you will eventually have to pay the hotels that are not stipulated in your GoSplitty transaction. The price that you pay in those taxes/fees that GoSplitty charges which I paid over $273.00 in fees alone is not part of the hotel stay nor part of the booking.
