The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible. But I like the interface and I think using ActiveTrader is easier and more intuitive than most other platforms I’ve tried. I’m currently trading MES on IB’s TWS platform and only paying about a buck per contract round trip.obviously, no institution is using a fut broker. Instead someone like marex. 99.99% of retail traders don’t make money so this is all kind of a moot point anyways. I actually get better total fees and better trading platform at TradeStation. Plus a search on Google shows a few issues with Amp.
