TQQQ's IV is much higher than QQQ, at around 70% right now. I am aware many people would debate about volatility drag on TQQQ, but it is not super scary. You can back test TQQQ till this past March low and see how it performs over the past many years. As long as you don't go all in with it you won't be screwed holding it..
