Located in Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro, Museo de Oro was founded in 1967 by Fr. Francisco Demetrio SJ to showcase the rich culture and heritage of Mindanao. It is the first folkloric museum in the Philippines and has three exhibit rooms that feature various works of art and other artifacts.
