This is a cynical take and ur obviously biased. The real reason is 9/11 affected a lot of people, and the chances you run into someone who finds it offends their sensibilities is much higher compared to a beheading video, which has a limited amount of people affected by the death.I think I saw this in a documentary about that one 9/11 picture of 'The falling man'.
